Upholstered furniture must be comfortable and built to last. For those of us who select American country for our decor, it absolutely must have the correct traditional look as well. Our handmade upholstered furniture is comfortable, beautiful and consistent with circa 1800 designs. Each frame is made of 100% hardwood (maple and oak) and built to last. Legs are built into the frame, not attached later. Heavy gauge double cone springs are hand-tied before expert craftsmen pad the arms, backs and wings to provide the distinctive shapes. Fabrics are cut to insure the pattern is flow-matched and balanced. Each piece is made to order in your choice of fabric and usually ships (motor freight) in 6-8 weeks. We do not quote prices on our site because prices vary depending upon the grade of the selected fabric. Samples of all fabrics are available for $8, which includes postage (order JB-Fabric). Legs are finished in your choice of mahogany, walnut or golden oak. Black painted finish is available at an extra charge. We encourage you to call to discuss your needs.
