Painted canvas, the early rug, was used on floors in America in the late 1700’s. Initially imported from England, it didn’t take long for domestic makers to expand the art form. Based on historic patterns from 18th century New England, each is hand stenciled and made to last for years. We show the 24” by 33” size. Also available in 28” by 50” - pattern may vary. For custom sizes please call to discuss your specific needs.
