| At the start of the 19th century products in the United States were still predominantly handmade. Blacksmiths spent the greater part of each day on the essentials like wagon wheels and farm tools. It was not until the end of the day that time was found for the artistic projects like hooks and hangers. Fortunately for us, our blacksmiths no longer face the demands of an agrarian society and can devote their time and considerable skills to creating these wonderful reproductions.
