This plate is attributed to John Neis in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County, 1820-1830. Our adaptation is an impressive copy of the early original. It is sgraffito decorated with vibrant copper accents. It has apparent crackle and a warm manganese speckled glaze. It is nicely bordered. Measures 9½" in diameter. Artist - Betty Lou Viox.
***Proudly thrown in the USA at the Workshops of David T. Smith.***
